Rick Crandall

Rick CrandallRick Crandall is the Director of Sustainability for the Southern California Division Albertsons food stores. His responsibility is for 249 stores, over 18,000 associates and two distribution centers from Morro Bay to the San Diego US border and east to Las Vegas. He also sits on the Supervalu’ Enterprise Environmental Steering Committee that guides the sustainable efforts for over 1100 stores in 38 states and 30 Distribution Centers. Rick also is a member of the California Grocers Association, California Retailers Association and Advisory Board Member for the California Work Alliance and active member of the Los Angeles County reusable bag task force. His 40 years in the retail industry include over a decade in store management and 12 years as District Manager. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Redlands and was certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt while completing several projects around sustainable efforts for the retail industry.
